Men's Modern General Store began with a simple conviction: the right goods matter, and so do the conversations that happen around them.
The founders
Built by deciding to move anyway.
MMGS started with an idea for a modern general store with real character and room for people to connect.
Micah and Caroline Raposo spent years working toward it. When traditional financing did not materialize, they invested their own savings and kept going. The right Cottleville space opened up, and one month after signing the lease they opened the doors.
Men's Modern General Store opened on August 30, 2025. The online shop followed on July 23, 2026.
